This week, I taught my
little sister how to make peanut butter cookies from scratch. First, we had to
make sure we had all the ingredients. We were missing a couple of the essential
ingredients, so we decided to ride over to Stater Bros. and get what we were
missing. We bought flour, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and peanut butter. Then,
when we got home, I made dinner. After, I started to teach my sister how to
make the cookies. I had her measure everything out herself, because she wanted
to show me she knew how to measure. Then, I told her how she was supposed to
mix it, and she did. Then, I helped her roll them into balls to be pushed. Finally,
she put them in the oven to cook. The first try came out a little hard, not
burnt. The next day, she made them again to show me she actually did learn and
she made them perfect.
I got the recipe from: http://americanfood.about.com/od/desserts/r/Peanut_Butter_Cookie.htm

20% project week 2-Josph Zayas-period 3
This week, for my twenty percent project, my little brother, my little sister and I all came up with a couple of ideas of what I will be teaching them to make. For one, my little sister already knows how to make a cake, but my little brother does not, so I will be teaching him to make that after I teach them the basics. Also, my little sister knows how to make cookies really good, but my brothers almost alwayd come out overcooked, and once they were undercooked. For the cookies, i will have my sister help me teach my brother with me.
Sometimes, I probably will use my little sister, as she gets better, I will probably use her as my assistant to help my little brrother, as my sister already knows how to cook a little bit. My brother, on the other hand, does not really know how to cook anything at all, except the basics.
